Brief description	The system of subsurface drip irrigation consists of well unit, irrigation water treatment and soluble fertilizers dripping unit, main, submain lines, emitters (built in ground) and back-wash unit. A distinctive characteristic of the system is building in ground of the lines (emitters) at 0.3 m using the non-trench method. The Building in of emitters is carried out using a non-trench stacker hung on МТP-52wheel-type tractor.

Application field (more info)	IRRIGATION OF AGRICULTURAL CROPS: - Irrigation orchards (peach, apricot, cherry, pear) with no espaliers. In wide row planting schemes two emitters are built in per one tree lane. Soil: natural sod formation. - Perennial plant herbs (medicinal plants, essential oil species); - Recycling of treated dump water by means of irrigation of lawns and ornamental plants.

Competitive advantages (more info)	The important advantage of subsurface drip irrigation is subsurface building in of emitters that provides direct water supply to plant roots and protects the emitters from damages, sun affect and theft. The top soil of soil at 0.1 m, depending on the depth of building in, is not irrigated that reduces quantity of weeds. Water losses from evaporation from soil surface are insignificant, as the top horizon is dried, there is no crust on soil surface, the water and air permeability increases. The irrigation norms are 20 % less than using drip irrigation. The specialized irrigation lines developed by foreign companies exactly for this purpose are used in building in subsoil lines.
